RightControl, an inventory management & sales processing system for Small Businesses. Manages your stock, your contacts, your sales & invoicing, barcodes and dispatching, all from one integrated system.
Pros: SME businesses can look to this application for not only inventory control functionality but also for sales order management from order entry to invoicing as an integrated solution. It’ll manage stock inventory, sales & invoices, customer & supplier contacts, generating & printing barcodes, with dispatching, reports and a whole host of business management features. Features include stock inventory management, sales order processing & invoice billing, customer & supplier contacts, generating & printing barcodes, dispatching, reporting and so on. It can handle different kinds of sale scenarios such as for mail or internet based ordering or comprehensive inventory control options, such as singular item bar-coded tracking for unique individual objects like notebook computers, or multiple stock entry for batches of items like tinned peas, or even kit assemblies that need to be bundled from a bill of materials to make up one product. Versions suitable for different sized businesses exist to suit many types of business owner, from start up businesses and home users selling on Ebay, to the expanding enterprise requiring a multiple user, client server system. The upgrades are easy.
Publishers claim to have put in lot of industry experience in business and inventory control to make it easy for the end user usage and to make the learning curve easy. The interface is straightforward. A large work area with a set of controls on top which cause appropriate pop up forms to appear.
Cons: Interface with a CRM system will be useful as for example the return material module uses a RMA number as a reference. However there are no processes integrated with the application that administers the authorization.
Overall a feature rich package that is easy to use, it rates a 4 star level.
